The Government of Japan is prepared to pay to the Government of the Republic of Korea certain amount of fund, in lump-sum payment, to be used for the repatriation of Korean residents in Japan to and their resettlement in the Republic of Korea.
The Government of Japan is further prepared to commence immediately negotiations with the Government of the Republic of Korea regarding the type and means of payment of the above-mentioned fund, and other necessary arrangements needed for such payment.
The above-mentioned payment will be made without delay and prior to the taking place of the repatriation of Korean residents in Japan to the Republic of Korea.
