Dear Secretary-General,
We are writing to inform you that our Vice-President, Doctor Marcel Junod, accompanied by his wife, will shortly be going to the Far East in order to visit a number of National Red Cross Societies.
Remembering the warm welcome which your Society gave him during his short mission to Seoul last September, he would like to visit it again, in order to learn more about the activities which it undertakes zealously, and also to meet the new President who, it appears, will be elected in the very near future.
According to Doctor Junod 's programme, which we hope will meet with your approval, he should arrive at the airport of
Seoul on Saturday, August 20, at 12.20 p.m. (Flight CT/24) and leave again on the following Saturday.
We are very pleased that our Vice President is able to go on this mission, which will confirm to you our desire of strengthening the friendly relations existing between your Society and the International Committee.
