Eastern Wall of the Antechamber - Detailed View of the Subak Fighter (left)
This is a detailed view of the Subak fighter on the left. Although his facial features are faint due to deterioration, the lips, nose, beard, and outline of the widow's peak in his hairline are still relatively visible. The shape of this fighter's nose may be indicative of his Western Regions (Generally refers to areas to the west of China) ancestry. This is a strong possibility as another Western Regions dancer appears on the eastern wall of the main chamber in Anak Tomb No. 3. The black outlines of the figure enhance the vividness of his bulky shoulders, pectoral muscles, and bulging lower abdomen.
