|---|---|---|---|
This is a detailed view of the water jugs and trough depicted on the northern wall of the eastern auxiliary chamber in Anak Tomb No. 3. Various types of earthenware were produced in mass quantities during the Koguryo era. Numerous earthenware relics have been excavated from historical Koguryo sites over the years including jugs, steamers, bowls, plates, and cups all with various types of handles. As depicted in the mural, the jug was primarily used for storing and/or transporting water.
